Start from Scratch

April 19, 2018
It started from Tumblr blocking by our government. They reasoned Tumblr had violated rules related to pornographic content filtering. In a simpler way, Tumblr was considered liberating the indecent contents. Tumblr is so cute! I had used it for years yet the policy had obstructed me from posting photos (mostly culinary and landscapes) and soul-building or at least entertaining quotes I cited from books, movies and internet for sure.

I can still use VPN to access Tumblr but it feels like robbing at your own home. Breaking the government regulations, no matter how weird it is, is not recommended. The rules are often not balanced but for the good of people is the most consideration. At least it is what I am sure about positively.

I treasured my Tumblr and I only reblogged once because most of the contents were created personally. But when I looked at the feeds again, I did not find any benefit except the pleasure from the neatly arranged photos and quotes. That's all! What is my true purpose, then? Tumblr's simplicity had simplified my way of thinking. Indeed, I am not supposed to tell a personal matter explicitly because first, it is not worthwhile and second, no one cares.

That is the reason why I want to blog again. And of course this time will not be the same as the first blog I created at the end of 2012. I want this blog to be something useful at least for myself. Something that I will read later and it still can be used as a reference for actions, feelings or thoughts that should or should not be taken.

I want to start typing again and this time with no pressure and stupid target. I do not want the number of page-view to be a trigger or even worse, being a destroyer to continue typing. I want to do it completely for myself. There is so much free information that people can use as reference to their needs. I do not need to trouble myself by thinking about what others need, what makes people happy. Being considered to exist, is not my purpose at all. My existence has become its own statement, though. Even if what I did, do and will do, would be a little useful to others, it would be a plus.
